Indigenous in AI/ML is a networking and support group founded at the Neural Information and Processing Systems (NeurIPS) conference to connect Indigenous professionals and researchers working in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Our goal is to inspire meaningful work that benefits Indigenous communities, challenge stereotypes in advanced technology fields, and foster dialogue across cultures.
We are building an international network of Indigenous AI/ML professionals and allies who share a vision of innovation grounded in respect, reciprocity, and community empowerment.
